English below They appeared on the Tokyo scene for the first time in 1997 with the band decay (produce by Yukihiro Takahashi, who is known to be one of the former member of Ryuichi Sakamoto's project, Yellow Magic Orchestra aka YMO), but "K" and Noah made their real first steps in the music industry as "101A" in 2000. When the band was created, they decided to set up their own independent label as "Label † film.4". They wanted a kind of self-production. During that time, they made their first performance with the supporting drummer Yoshihiro Hirama, and their first demo called "apotosis" was released in 2002. A release which transports the listener to a special universe which is not so unusual : basic and soft rock with catchy riffs, and nice rythmic which is not daunting even if the sound often repeats itself. All this music structure comes with electronic sound. About one year later, the first mini-album has been released. Simply called "01", 101A continues with its compositions between rock and electro music always coming with delighful vocals. The year 2005 will be a new beginning in the history of the band because 101A flew towards the United Kingdow to make their first overseas gigs with their new session drummer Chang Ileun. Those shows had only took place in London at the Metro Club and the Bull&Gate, both are famous clubs in the Britain's capital. Their projects were materialized with others gigs in the UK at the end of the year, and they were recognized as one of the most important composers of 2005's Tokyo scene. Since early days, they played not only in Tokyo, but also in other Japanese main cities like Osaka, Nagoya, Sendai... and more. Now, they are aiming to appeal their vivid performance to the world scene. Summer 2006, they took part in the well-known Japanese festival Fuji Rock Festival with some great bands as Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sonic Youth, Mogwai and Isis, but also Guitar Wolf, Envy and BUFFALO DAUGHTER to promote their first full-lenght CD called "one day".
